My Favorites, as answered by Gen

I've decided to ask a list of questions to my daughter (and soon, to my son--he's only 10 months right now so not exactly communicative). I added a few questions this year and she made me ask a few, too. :) Anyway, I wanted to share the questions and her answers with you. Maybe you'll be inspired to try something similar with your children. The great thing about a list like this is you can just print out the answers right at home and just add that year's page to a binder. Easy peasy!
I want to scrap her answers, but I figured that I should at least pop on here to share with you all (since it's been like half a year. Ahem. Bad blogger!). Her answers have changed a little since last year, although her favorite outfit is still the same. Good thing I bought that tutu dress in both a 4T and a 5T!

My Favorite Things

1. What is your favorite color? Pink and Purple because I like that they’re pretty.

2. What is your favorite toy? Princess Celestia (a unicorn from My Little Pony)

3. What is your favorite fruit? Blueberries

4. What is your favorite TV show? “My Little Pony” because it has Princess Celestia.

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Chocolate Peanut Butter sandwich, strawberry milk, and

     that’s it.

6. What is your favorite outfit? Pink tutu

7. What is your favorite game? Wii Fit

8. What is your favorite snack? Chocolate—no wait, no: chocolate is dessert. My favorite snack is a

     banana.

9. What is your favorite animal? Unicorn.

10. What is your favorite song? Funky Town (by Lipps Inc—she heard it on Just Dance)

11. What is your favorite book? My schoolbooks (the Montessori learning-to-read sets)

12. Who is your best friend? Everybody

13. What is your favorite cereal? Frankenberry

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Throw my ball in the air.

15. What is your favorite drink? Strawberry milk

16. What is your favorite holiday? Easter and Christmas.

17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? All my stuffed animals.

18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Waffles that Daddy makes.

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Pizza!

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a ballerina and a scientist.

21. What’s your favorite movie? “Cars 2”

22. What is your favorite dessert? Peppermint Patties!

23. What is your favorite thing to play with your [10m old] brother?  Roll the ball.

24. What is your favorite vacation spot? New Orleans

25. Who is your favorite adult? Mommy and Daddy [She told me to ask this question]

So who watched/is watching the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics? We watched a bit of it, and my 5yo daughter loved the NHS/kids act. But then it was HER bedtime lol, and we turned off the TV before the "bad guys" British lit could accidentally scare her!

I'm retiring

I have decided, after months of deliberation, that I am retiring. Both stores are now closed.

I am pregnant and I have so little energy! I can barely do the laundry lol. Sitting down at the computer and coming up with a fun kit idea--let alone actually designing items for it!--is practically impossible. Perhaps in a year or two, once the baby is out of infancy (meaning, we've got a nice little schedule down lol, and I have a tiny bit of free time!), I'll start designing again more aggressively. In the meantime, I'll post a freebie every once in awhile. :)
